Five signs your business has outgrown spreadsheets
Spreadsheets are a great place to start and a terrible place to stay. If any of these sound familiar, it's time.

There's no shame in running on spreadsheets — most businesses do, for years, and it's the right call early on. But there's a point where the tool starts costing you more than it saves. The signs:
Two people can't safely edit at once. You've had the "who overwrote my changes?" conversation more than once.
You don't trust the numbers. Before any real decision, someone has to go and "check the actual stock" or "confirm with the shop."
Onboarding a new staff member takes a week. Because the knowledge is in the formulas and the colour-coding, not written down anywhere.
You're copying data between sheets by hand. Orders into stock, stock into purchasing, purchasing into accounts. Every copy is a chance to get it wrong.
You've stopped adding columns because you're scared of breaking it.
A proper system fixes all five: real multi-user access, one trustworthy set of numbers, permissions and history built in, and room to grow without fear. We usually migrate the existing spreadsheet data in as step one, so nothing is lost.
