Launching an e-commerce store in three weeks

A realistic timeline and the exact checklist we work through when a client needs to be selling online, fast.

Launching an e-commerce store in three weeks

Three weeks is aggressive but doable when the scope is honest. Here's how we structure it.

Week one — foundations. Catalogue structure, product data, and photography. Payment provider set up and tested with real (small) transactions. Domain, hosting, and the storefront skeleton live behind a password.

Week two — the buying flow. Cart, checkout, shipping rules, tax, order confirmation emails. The back office: order management, stock levels, and a simple dashboard. Inline editing so your team can fix a price or swap an image without calling us.

Week three — polish and launch. Content pages, mobile testing on real devices, load testing, and a soft launch to a small list before going public. We stay on for the first busy day.

What blows the timeline: unclear product data, waiting on photography, or trying to add a custom feature mid-build. Lock those down first and three weeks holds.
